Affectionately known as “Dr. Dave”
Dr. David Migliaccio—known to clients and pets alike as Dr. Dave—has been a part of Chester Animal Hospital for as long as he can remember. Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Nicholas Migliaccio, who founded the practice and built the original hospital next door to their family home, Dr. Dave grew up immersed in a life of veterinary care. His father cared for both small animals and dairy cows, and the seeds of Dr. Dave’s passion were planted early as he walked across the yard each day to help care for the animals.
By age 10, Dr. Dave had already set his sights on becoming a veterinarian. He attended West Morris High School, staying active in sports and community life, and to this day, you may still find him cheering on local teams from the sidelines or stands.
He left Chester to pursue his undergraduate and veterinary education at Oklahoma State University, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. After graduation, he moved to Virginia to practice equine veterinary medicine, returning in 1985 to join his father in Chester—bringing with him a wealth of experience in both small animal and equine care.
Dr. Dave and his wife Maureen were married in 1987 and have since raised four children and are proud grandparents to David Migliaccio III.
When he’s not at the hospital caring for pets, you’ll find Dr. Dave spending time with his family and animals, tending to his sheep farm, relaxing at his cabin, enjoying time with friends, or taking in a local sporting event.

Lissette – Official Clinic Mascot & Comfort Specialist
Lissette has been a beloved part of our Chester Animal Hospital family since 2015, joining us as an adorable puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Graciously shared with us by her loving mom, Jeanette, Lissette quickly found her calling as our official mascot.
Each day, Lissette takes her role seriously—whether she’s greeting visitors with a wagging tail, showing off her latest outfit, or simply helping our furry patients feel a little more at ease. Her calming presence and gentle spirit bring comfort and joy to everyone she meets.
Dressed to impress and always full of love, Lissette is a favorite among staff, clients, and pets alike!
Maureen – Chief Operating Officer
Maureen has been married to Dr. Dave for over 35 years, and together they have four grown children. She began working at the hospital full-time in 1990 and now serves as our Chief Operating Officer. One of her favorite parts of the day is visiting the kennels to cuddle and play with the puppies.
Maureen is also a psychic medium and teaches weekly classes. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, quad riding, and relaxing at the beach.
Jeanette – Front Desk & Veterinary Assistant
Jeanette began working with ‘Doc Mig’ (Dr. Dave’s father) in 1986 and has been a beloved part of our team ever since. She arrives bright and early each morning to greet our boarding pets, her sweet and cheerful voice setting the tone for a happy start to their day. Jeanette is incredibly knowledgeable at the front desk and is always ready to assist Dr. Dave during exams and surgeries.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring local history, spending time with family, doting on her cat Puddy Puddy, and, of course, her adorable Lissette.
Eileen – Receptionist
Eileen joined our team in 1989 and has grown from a part-time to a full-time receptionist. She loves welcoming our patients — and their owners too! Eileen is a warm, familiar face at the front desk, always ready to greet you with a smile. She takes care of checking you in and out of your hospital visit with ease and ensures your prescriptions are ready when you arrive. She’s also versatile, lending a hand to assist Dr. Dave whenever she’s needed.
Outside of work, Eileen enjoys spending time with her beloved cats — Annabelle, Greyson, Boobie, and Doodles — and relaxing with her family.
Justin – Veterinary Assistant
Justin joined our team in 2021 and enjoys assisting Dr. Dave in the exam room. He brings a calm and comforting presence to the animals, helping them feel at ease during their visit. Justin is also a great asset during surgeries, always ready to lend a skilled and steady hand.
When he’s not at work, Justin is busy studying as a student at Centenary University. In his free time, he enjoys wood carving, learning music — especially guitar — and spending time outdoors. He also loves relaxing with his dogs, Coco and Miruku, as well as with his friends and family.
Saige – Veterinary Assistant
Saige joined our team in 2022 and has been an essential part of our clinic ever since. As Dr. Dave’s assistant, she not only enjoys helping during surgeries but is often found in the exam room, making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Saige is also working toward her goal of attending school to earn a degree as a veterinary technician.
Outside of work, Saige loves spending time outdoors — whether it’s kayaking, visiting the lake or ocean, or exploring waterfalls and parks. She also enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with her beloved cats: Axel (pictured), Elijah, Siren, and Mercury.
Christi – Veterinary Assistant
Christi joined our team in 2022 and has quickly proven to be a versatile and valuable part of the clinic. She enjoys assisting Dr. Dave during exams, in surgery, and in the pharmacy, and you’ll often find her helping out at the front desk as well.
Outside of the clinic, Christi loves staying active and adventurous — whether she’s snowboarding, hiking, traveling, or spending quality time with her family. At home, she enjoys the company of her three adorable bunnies — Kylo, River, and Zion — and her cat Kiko and her dog Stormy.
Celina – Veterinary Assistant, Client Services & Resident Baker
Celina joined Chester Animal Hospital in 2023, and from day one, she’s worn many hats with grace and enthusiasm. Whether she’s welcoming clients at the front desk, assisting Dr. Dave in the exam room or during surgeries, managing data entry, or helping with day-to-day operations, Celina brings a thoughtful and upbeat presence to every task.
She’s also earned a sweet reputation as our resident baker, regularly surprising the team with delicious homemade treats!
Outside of work, Celina loves spending time outdoors, baking (naturally!), reading, and relaxing with family, friends, and her three beloved pets—dogs Dylon and Riley, and her cat Pandora.
Mady – Receptionist
Mady is a newer member of our team and has already become a valuable asset. She’s especially helpful during busy times, whether she’s answering phones or filling prescriptions with care and efficiency.
Outside of work, Mady enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Annie and Bear. She also loves getting lost in a good book and exploring the outdoors on hikes.
